The holidays get a little nutty around here, and I have lots of funnies to share.
Like how at my Grandparents' house on Christmas Eve we all gathered to read the birth story of Christ, and my uncle kept reading beyond the whole manger scene to circumcision story... specifically, he explained that when the penis was snipped the baby was named... "Oh Jesus."
Or like how at my work Christmas party, my sister asked my coworker's (15 year junior) girlfriend if her "Daddy" was a good Santa Claus. In her defense, it was an honest mistake ;-)
But for now, I'll leave you with the holiday cards we scored from Shutterfly!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteANd, Oh Jesus? hahahah
Did you send our 2 different cards? How did you decided who gets what one???
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Love the story about your sister. And love the cards.
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's funny about your uncle. I love your Christmas cards!
ReplyDeleteDid you get two cards?!?!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards :) I love the baby Jesus story the way your uncle tells it. I think... hehe
ReplyDeleteHaha! The Oh Jesus story is funny! ;) I hate those age situations... They are kind of like the "is she pregnant or... not?" situations. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry it has been so long since I've visited your blog! I just realized I wasn't following you. I love your holiday cards though! Thanks for your comment on mine. To answer your question, I just really started reading the Franzen book but I like it so far. It is a really big book (though I have no concept of pages because I'm reading it on my Kindle) so I think it might take me a bit.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to do that. :( Someone told me once but I didn't do it and now it is buried in my comments. Would you mind telling me how? Haha. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks! You can give it a shot now. ;)
ReplyDeleteLeft you something on my blog!
ReplyDeletePlease come back to blogging!!!
