Cat Scratch Fever

UPDATE: Some of my friends have asked me if the infection I have on my thumb from PscyhoCat (catch up here) is the same as Cat Scratch Fever.

I just assumed this was a similar infection that someone might get from being scratched by a cat.

ERRONEOUS.

My uncle tells me this adage actually refers to an STD. Apparently it's referenced in a Ted Nugent song - he gets "Cat Scratch Fever from some [kitty] next door."

Note to Self: Do not go around telling people you have Cat Scratch Fever.
